The beautiful rustic vibe and spacious gardens made me feel like I was in a charming mountain retreat. The accessibility features were a bonus, although I did notice some areas might require a little extra effort for seniors.
More seating options near common areas would help.

The hotel’s rustic charm really captured my heart. I especially loved the beautiful gardens that made the whole place feel like a mountain retreat. Janeth at reception was super helpful and made check-in a breeze for us. Access to El Mirador for meals was easy with a quick shuttle ride. However, I faced a few bumps during my stay. The lack of an onsite restaurant was inconvenient, especially since we had to rely on a strict meal schedule that didn’t really fit our plans. The hotel doesn’t accept cash, which led to some frustrations with foreign transaction fees on my credit card. I had some issues with the room too. the front door barely opened, and I ended up flooding the bathroom every time I showered due to a poor tile job. At night, it got really cold and the bedding was minimal. just a top sheet, which wasn’t enough to keep me warm. Even though there were some negatives, the tranquil setting and the accommodating staff made it a decent stay overall.
